In the words of Joan Rivers

"Can We talk?" Coffee Instant energy I so have been enjoying having the Thursday Coffee Club. I try all week to think what can we talk about this week. Every day I come up with a wonderful topic, But I always forget it before I can get to a place to wriote it down. Each week I have been getting good responses from you all. I love all of the great feedback I have been getting.

I have been coming up with the topic each week, and this week I would like to know what interests you?

So what's on your mind?

Let's talk about it.

Much Love & Many Hugs

Nancy

Hey Nancy and Good Morning! Sitting here with my cup of Java beside me checking the email and postings on multiply. Mostly what is on my mind is I just got on the scale. I have finally hit the 75 lbs weight loss mark. (only took me since January 7th, LOL) wasn't fast, but it came off. I am ecstatic! Ray's still asleep so doesn't even know you, you guys are the first to find out. Now, only 30 more lbs to go! Have a great morning!

BOO! did I scare you???? I'm sorry I've been very absent from Multiply lately.... My head is filled with a bunch of other stuff, and I haven't been in the mood to write about anything.
I've been in contact with my older sister Linda... I now have nicknamed her Lynn-Lin, both of her names together. We are having her come out to California for our little sister's birthday. We're trying to get our mom to come out too, but she may not be able to as she is still caring for my Nana, who is hanging on. I'll post her pictures on my page, some of the most recent, with my brother in law... Other than that, I've just been carrying on. Going to work. trying to keep my head above water, with my bills.Just maintaining.... And yes, I still love ya.

Congratulations on the weight loss. It did not all go on real fast so it should come off slowly that way it will stay off.

So they say. never worked for me

OPPS! I missed this on Thursday!
I have been a tad absent minded lately! I have several topics going on in my head! I'm doing a genealogy search,I want to give my kids and grandkids a family history. Those searches take you everywhere then when you're on a roll it seems you hit a brick wall! Then there's politics, religion, earthquakes, drought, floods and all the other dastardly events happening around the world! Thursday night when I took the dog for his walk,I had the bajebeebers scared out of me! I looked up at the moon and there was (2 ) of them one slightly over lapping the other!!! No that's not a typo I typed (2) moons! I have been blind in my left eye for the past 28 years. And since we need both eyes for depth perception,I have none! Quite often I walk off a sidewalk and fall because it all looks flat to me! So I seldom go anywhere by myself.Last summer I ventured down to safeway and when I got back home I was attempting to back the car up under the carport.I backed right into the pole (it looks like a tall rail road tie) to me,that holds the thing up! it slightly dented the rear of the van and broke out a tail light. Two days later, same thing happened, that pole now has a split in it that keeps getting bigger.I suppose the thing will have to be replaced soon!Last year when I had an eye exam I was told that my right eye isn't going to last much longer. My equilibrium is off kilter and it makes me dizzy and an upset tummy if I try to focus on anything for very long! I am despratly trying to finish the keepsake quilts and memory books I am making for each of my kids and grandbabies.Trying to get my life in order so that I will be able to function later.I've researched text to voice software so with practice I should be able to continue surfing the net and blogging ( so long as folks don't mind a few misspelled words). This thing with the two moons seems to have happened pretty fast or I just hadn't noticed it? so if one day you don't hear from me for awhile........I will be back! I'm not going to give into something that can take away what little happiness I may have left in life! My only regret is I won't be able to see a child's smile,a rose in bloom. The one thing I will miss...On a sunny day I sit here at the window and watch the sun set cast shadows over Mt.Hood and ,there is nothing so breath taking as to watch that mountain snow glisten in the morning sun light. Before my mom died she gave me several huge boxes of beads and crystals. Some of the crystals are over 100 years old.I've made several suncatchers from them and I hang them in the windows. When the sun hits them just right the room fills with hundreds of I call them "fireflies" that's what they remind me of. My little ShiTzu will spend an afternoon chasing them,I think he's half cat! Well that's about all the news for today,Take care and be safe Nancy hugsssssss

I have seen 2 moons before, it is amazing. Back in 2000 My now ex-mother-outlaw and I were driving at about 9:00 atnight and I said watch I will make the moon disapear. And it happened to be at just the right time when the moon went away so that it could begin a new moon cycle. And the moon did disapear and it was gone for like 2 days it was so weird.

I am sorry to hear about your eyes. Can they not do the radio karrot surgery to make them better? i could not immagine not being able to judge distance or anything that must be difficult. I am sorry to hear that.

I have thought about checking our geneology but all ofthe sights I have checked into cost so much. We are also looking to get our family roll numbers for the indian tribes we are born of. On My mother's side My grandmother was half Cherokee and my grandfather was full blood blackfoot. I do not look indian but my mother does and my youngest daughter does. With the indian blood mixed with the Mexican blood my grandson looks kindof dark skinned and he has straight black hair. My daughter's father was 1/4 chawktaw so She got the indian looks. She is my grandson's mother and she was with a mexican when he was created. So he is 1/2 mexican and about 1/3 indian I guess. Personally I feel it would be better if he grows up to look indian rather than Mexican.

Thank you, I enjoy making the backgrounds. I normally go for things like faries and butterflies and Lili's becasue those are things that I know my friends enjoy seeing, So I try and make my page appealing to them. But this week I chose to go with a Waterfall because I wanted to see if the moving pictures worked on the backgrounds. And it does work when I see it, I don't know about if when you all see it.

But thank you. Do you collect anything or are very fond of something I can do a background with something you like.
