Love the white dutch iris, all I have are the royal blue, wish you could change colors on them like the heirloom variety.

I have a bunch of wind spinners myself, love collecting them, and wind chimes. I have my eye on a set of wind chimes that are perfectly tuned up in Hot Springs,AR- they run about $400 but the sound they produce is worth it, plus they have a life time warranty.

Not quite as dark as the one you are looking for, but still so beautiful.

Nothing growing here. It's chilly today at 44 degrees. (boo)

Thanks Michelle, My mom actually says she has on that is the color I want, but she says everytime it is just about to bloom something comes along and breaks it off...like a storm, or a child's ball, or something. Even adults come along and pick her flowers...

If I see it about to bloom this year I am goung to guard it with my life to makesure it is what I want so I can get a cutting...LOL

I had to put a wire fencing around some of mine to keep that from happening. We had some, what I call horse wire, its welded wire about 5 feet tall, I took some wire snips clipped it to just fit around the plant (in my case it was a rose bush) clipped the bottom wire totally off, leaving the little sharp points of wire to stick in the ground. If you'd like to try this, I'll post a picture of exactly what I'm talking about, it really does well on protecting plants, and welded wire is fairly cheap, and you can do about 20 to 30 plants with one roll that's 50 feet long (here it cost under $50.00) for a 50 foot roll. I also think it comes in 25 ft. rolls which I've seen at Lowes.

Frank, That is a great idea. we bought some welded wire for our dog pine. It was $33.00 for a 50 foot roll.

I will try it around my flowers.

Thanks
