My Family and Friends

Posted by Nancy on Feb 29, '08 11:05 AM for everyone
at the beginning of February I cut layers into my hair with the help of some advice from my friend Robin. I loved that hair cut...Thanks again Robin. Then This week I decided I wanted to cut it shorter still yet.

You are brave to cut your own hair! It turns out nice! I get frustrated and trim my bangs.. and am hard pressed to get those straight!!

The shorter style makes you look younger! (Not that you look old... I mean that as a compliment!)

Thanks Michelle...You should have seen me before I turned 40..I was panicking about it..But then when I turned 40, and told my aunt off the same day..I got it out of my system and I was ok with my age...

I am older than dirt...LMAO

Thank you so much for the compliment I do appreciate it...HUGS

I just love my latest cut... it is the first time in a long time I can have straight hair that looks good...

Robin helped me via messaging on how I could cut it in the long layers... and I love it so much.

What I did was take it all and comb it straight forward and then pull it together and cut it all at one length, bending over forward mind you...then when I flipped it back it had wonderful long layers, and I cut it straight across at the bottom of the back.. So actually 2 cuts and it was what I wanted. I have naturally wavy hair, and it is wavy when it is wet.. But I can brush it wet and my hair will straighten out and pretty much stay straight...it curls underneath.
